Does it matter if a UV pet inspection utilizing a moisture wand is conducted within hours of professional carpet cleaning? Is there a standard business practice of how long to wait to conduct such an inspection after a carpet cleaning?

Hi Benjamin.
I don't know what an UV pet inspection is. Ultra Violet Pet Inspection?

I am assuming an inspector shined a UV light onto the carpet and found a difference in reflection.
I would think that would be okay, but to use a moisture meter/probe would not be fair.
Carpet can stay wet to damp for a few days.

I don't know of a standard practice but I would think at least a week to insure the carpet is completely dry.
