i HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT MY CARPET HAS CORNROWING (WHICH DOES NOT REBOUND WHEN VACUUMED). IT IS ONE YEAR OLD AND IS MATTED INTO ROWS IN ALL WALKING AREAS. THE ROWING APPEARS IN MY BEDROOM HALLWAY, ALL AROUND THE BED AND INTO THE BATHROOM) AND I AM THE ONLY PERSON THAT ENTERS MY BEDROOM AND I AM AN AVERAGE SIZED PERSON --NOT OVER WEIGHT BY ANY MEANS. IN ALL OTHER AREAS, NOT WALKED UPON, THE CARPET LOOKS GOOD WITH NO ABRASION. IS THIS A PRODUCT OF FAULTY COMBINATION OF FIBERS IN MANUFACTURING? OR IS THIS NORMAL WEAR AS I HAVE BEEN TOLD? THE CARPET IS NYLON.

Hi Aneta,
Cornrowing is caused by traffic and lack of regular vacuuming.
Or a vacuum not up to the job.
Try vacuuming in different directions such as across the cornrowing direction.
