Flooring Inspector 1990 to Present I offer floor covering inspections for homeowners, building contractors, retailers, manufacturers, maintenance contractors, attorneys and manufacturers.

Carpet Cleaning 1973 to 2018 I operated and still own our family's carpet and upholstery cleaning business covering central Washington state.

Restoration Contractor 2003 to 2006 I am certified as a Water Restoration Technician (WRT) with the IICRC and worked with a local Servicemaster as well as with my own service.

I've written numerous articles covering the cleaning and inspection industry, including a consumer's guide to buying carpet for their home.
