Career History
1967 to 1969 : J.C. Best Carpet. These were franchise stores that my father started. The business grew from one store to 36 stores that were located throughout the northeast of the United States. I operated a store in Cambridge, Mass during the time that I worked for my dad.
1970-1972 Edward Fields, New York, New York, Customer Carpet Manufactuer, Territory Manager Northern New Jersey
1972-1979: Territory Manager, Lees Carpets. Territory was Detroit, Michigan & Columbus, Ohio. Presidents Honor Club, 2 Year Member for Outstanding Performance.
1979 to 1989: Wallrich Carpet & Tile, Lake Worth, Florida, Family Flooring Business. During my time there I served as buyer, warehouse manager, Gereral Manager of (15) units.
1989 to 1999 : Southland Floors, Pompano Beach, Florida, Territory Manager, Advisded customers on new product styles, fashion trends, and product fearures, Developed close and personal relationships with clients to ensure customer loyalty and retention. Ensured the highest levels of customer service and satisfaction. Interacted the architects, contractors, interior designers. Delivered sales presentations, seminars and training classes to clients and partners.
1999 to 2004 : Mohawk Industries, Dalton, Georgia, Territory Manager, Supervised regional sales in five counties of south east Florida. There were over 248 accounts in this territory.
2004 to Present Owner FloorInspection1, Jupiter, Florida. Certified Floor Covering Inspections. Commissioned by manufactures, dealers, distributors, insurance companies, installers, contractors, to identify problems, identify responsible parties and offer resolutions as they relate to floor covering. Inspections consists of analyzing defects, installation issues, cleaning issues, fiber, performance characteristic and consumer neglect. Facts are gathered by asking questions, obseriung, making tests. A written report is than given to the commissioning party.

1977 I was in charge of taking my accounts to the mill via business owned aircraft. We toured all the manufactering plants at Lees Carpets at Natural Bridge, Virginia and Rabun Gap, Grorgia. They were able to observe how carpet is made from the very begining to finishing process.
