Stan McCurtain's Curriculum Vitae

I began working in the flooring business in 1991 as an estimator. I also worked as a salesman during that time. I have owned an operated my own flooring business for a number of years.

Afterward I formed an association with Larry Burgess and became partners with him in the inspection business. After his retirement I assumed full ownership of the inspection business. Larry Burgess remains as a consultant the inspection company.

I trained as an associate under Larry Burgess for several years. Larry was and still is one of the most respected flooring inspectors in the country. I obtained my NWFA certification as a Hardwood Inspector.

I received my Senior Inspector training with Flooring and Textile Seminars of America under Richard Mittie and Paul Lucas both are highly respected and have been leaders in the carpet inspection business for years. I am listed in their International Certification Registry.

I trained with Howard Brickman a noted Hardwood Expert across the country and received my certification as a Hardwood Inspector from his training group.

I also have attended training seminars by major manufacturers over the years that include laminates, hardwood and carpet from Shaw and Mohawk.
