I received a B. A. with a Major in Anthropology and a Minor in Business Administration from Ohio State University in 1969. My flooring education began in 1971 with the May Company, Cleveland, Ohio as Assistant Buyer, Floor Coverings. It continued in 1973 with Carpet Technical Service in King of Prussia, PA., where I was trained as a Carpet Inspector. I have been a full time inspector since 1973. Today I am a fully Certified Flooring Inspector with Inspector certifications for carpet, laminate, wood, and engineered wood flooring.
I wrote, illustrated, and photographed "All About Carpets, A Consumer's Guide".

My training, in all areas of my expertise, is on-going throughout the year. I attend seminars, updates, conventions, and training sessions across the country and on-line.
